Our school holiday activities aren’t just about keeping them entertained, they’re designed to engage minds, encourage physical development, and foster an early appetite for an active lifestyle. From street dance and water survival courses to squash and trampolining, there’s something to inspire them every holiday.
Summer Holiday Activity Timetable
A fun and funky way for kids to workout. A dance based routine with uses pom poms and tumbles.
- Cricket Workshops
Attend our Cricket workshops to learn new and fun skills! The sessions will be taken by a district coach and will include games, batting, bowling and fielding skills.
- Contemporary Dance
A ‘free style’ movement class where children learn to express themselves through the form of movement. Excellent for flexibility, cardio vascular health, endurance and for building their confidence. Children will dancing in bare feet.
- Dodgeball Sessions
Can you be the last person on your team standing? Come along and take part in our new session and experience the fast and energetic game of dodgeball.
- Football Camp
Are you the next Messi or Ronaldo? Bridport Leisure Centre’s football camps offer training drills and matchplay as well as fun activities such as crossbar challenge and penalty shootouts.
- Junior Spinning Session
Fast paced and fun workout with pumping music in our Spinning studio with specially designed exercise bikes.
- Junior Swim Fit Sessions
This session will develop strokes and improve swimming endurance. All participants must be able to continuously swim 100m or be working at stage 6 and above in the national plan framework.
- Multi Sports Camp
Lots of fun and games including Badminton, Table Tennis, Circuits, Dodge Ball and Football.
- Street Dance
Find your groove and learn Street Dance moves with the fun and funky dance session.
An ideal opportunity to have a go at trampolining under the guidance of our expert coach.
- Water Confidence Course
A fun introduction to swimming and building water confidence, whilst learning different methods of moving in the water using a variety of aids. This is also great for building on skills already learnt in Stage 1 and 2 giving more opportunity for moving up to the next level.
