Wendy is the Children’s Activities Manager at Bridport Leisure Centre and a qualified Swim Teacher. She began her career at the centre on reception before progressing into her current role, where she combines her organisational skills with her passion for supporting children’s development.

Wendy believes the centre plays a vital role in the community, offering opportunities for people of all ages to come together and grow through sport and wellbeing. She finds teaching swimming especially rewarding, describing it as a life skill, and takes great pride in helping children build confidence and progress from beginners to competent swimmers.

Qualifications:

Swimming Instructor (Level 2)

Rookie Lifeguard Instructor

NRASTC Qualification – Lifeguard Trained
