With panoramic views over Bridport’s Brewery Fields, our well-equipped fitness suite offers a varied experience that you can shape around your personal goals. We have a large selection of leading-edge Technogym equipment, such as our elliptical cross trainers, alongside classic gym training, including free weights and mats. After an extensive refit in November 2021 you are now able to enjoy, and benefit from, a range of improvements and all-new, state-of-the-art training equipment.

Our expert instructors are always on hand to guide and help find a routine that suits your needs. There’s also plenty of equipment and choice for those with disabilities, with our qualified team here to support you all the way.
The fitness suite is open to all adults and children over 10 years old. Everyone needs to have an induction before they start.

Aerobic Dance Light
A fun low impact aerobics class, working out to a continual beat, rather than individual tracks. Can help to decrease risks of high blood pressure, osteoporosis, type 2 diabetes and more. Enjoy the music and just dance.

Abs Attack
This session will strengthen your abdominals and thoroughly work your whole core.
Active Wellbeing Fitness
A gentle and fun class that includes a variety of circuit-based and balancing exercises, and aerobics. Class type may vary.
Aqua Fit
Lively water-based class delivering high impact fitness with low impact moves.
Baby and Me
Ease your way back into exercise after the birth of your baby. Work at your own pace to safely tone, trim and get back into shape. Focus on feeling good about yourself & your body whilst having fun with your new baby. (Six week check from your GP required before starting.)
Barre
Taking movements from a ballet class and incorporating then into an exercise class. This class will make you feel light on your feet, taller and longer. Strengthening your thighs and core whilst gaining a longer and leaner physique.
Body Conditioning
Works major and minor muscle groups to tone and carve out a sleek physique.
Cardio Dance Light
Dance routines with elements of Latin, rock and roll, and jive. Low impact, perfect for adults and beginners.
Circuit Training
Challenging mix of cardiovascular and resistance exercises to give a great full-body workout.
Dance Fit
A feel good, high energy class incorporating aerobic style moves into a dance routine all set to high energy music.
Fitness Yoga
An exercise class that mixes yoga poses and flow to improve muscle tone, balance, and strength. Improves mental determination, flexibility, posture, and increase physical and mental relaxation
Fit to the Core
A low impact class suitable for those wishing to build up their core stability or rehabilitating after an injury.
Glorious Glutes
Strong glutes are critical for jumping, running and moving laterally. Tone and sculpt your derriere using resistance moves.
Group Cycling
Fast paces and fun workout with pumping music. Tones and burns calories with specially designed exercise bikes.
HardCORE
A great class to work your core. This session works your abs, back, hips and glutes helping to keep you strong and lean. A mixture of floor standing exercises incorporating balance and focusing on good posture.
HIIT Step
A new and innovative HIIT exercise class using only bodyweight and a step. Using the principles of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT). This class is choreographed to bespoke soundtracks.
Interval Training
All over strength and toning circuits combined with high energy cardio and abs routines to kick start your metabolism and burn calories.
Kettlebells
Get to grips with kettlebells and master their weight and technique. Build long lean muscles, improve strength, and power whilst elevating your heart rate to burn those calories.
Legs, Bums and Tums
Strengthen and tone those bits we love to hate. Squat, lunge and crunch your way to a strong, defined lower.
Parent and Baby Yoga
Start back gently with baby and parent yoga.

Whether you want to train hard, cool off after a fitness class or just enjoy a family swim, our pool offers great swimming in Bridport for all ages and abilities. Our 25-metre, six-lane main pool and 12-metre teaching pool are edged by floor-to-ceiling windows, filling the space with natural light and countryside views. Both pools are supervised by NLPQ qualified lifeguards at all times, providing a safe and friendly environment for everyone to enjoy.
- Lockers are available between the changing rooms and poolside. They require a £1 coin (or token) which is returned.
- Hairdryers are free to use and are to be found in both the male and female changing rooms.
- Poolside chair hoist is available for use. Please speak to a lifeguard who will be happy to assist you.

High intensity, low-impact workout that blasts your cardiovascular and endurance levels. - Aqua Fit
Lively water-based class delivering high-impact fitness with low-impact moves. A great intro to aqua fitness. - Aqua HIIT
HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) comes to the pool! High intensity, low-impact and high resistance. Supportive swimwear required. - Aqua Wellbeing
Gentle exercises in the shallow end help you build strength. Also great for those recovering from injury or illness.
