Active Teen Classes

Our NEW ACTIVE TEEN range of classes and memberships at Bridport Leisure Centre are designed to support the health, fitness and mental wellbeing of 13 – 16-year-olds.

Teens can make the most of our facilities with our ALL-INCLUSIVE, GYM EXTRA or SWIM memberships or Pay-As-You-Go options.

Our qualified instructors will deliver a broad range of fun classes across the week, enabling teens to pick and choose classes to suit their interests and academic commitments. Encourage your teenagers to establish excellent fitness habits from a young age to achieve a lifetime of great health benefits!

Classes start the week beginning Monday 6th January 2020 and will include:

  • Mondays: 5pm – 6pm
    Pilates: a mat-based class to improve posture and alignment whilst focusing on core strength and stability.
  • Tuesdays: 5pm – 6pm
    Kinesis:
    a functional training workout to engage your core, strengthen muscles, improve coordination, balance and body awareness, benefiting everyday movements.
  • Wednesdays: 4.30pm – 5.30pm
    Dance Fit:
    a fun and highly energetic dance class to the latest music, designed to improve coordination and flexibility, including cool routines.
  • Wednesdays: 5.30pm – 6.15pm
    Swim Fit:
    a mix of different strokes, drills and intensities to improve your stamina in the pool and create a better workout.
  • Wednesdays: 5.30pm – 6.30pm
    Circuits:
    a physical training session, aimed at boosting speed, strength and core stability.
  • Thursdays: 4.30pm – 5.15pm
    Studio Cycling: a fast and fun indoor cycling class to music, aiming to improve cardiovascular health. The minimum height requirement is 4′ 7″.
  • Fridays: 4.30pm – 5.30pm
    Yoga: for emotional and physical wellness. Helps to relieve stress and achieve a sense of inner calm. Yoga postures will improve fitness, strength, balance and flexibility.
  • Saturdays: 10am – 10.45am
    Swim Fit:
    a mix of different strokes, drills and intensities to improve your stamina in the pool and create a better workout.
  • Saturdays: 11.30am – 12.30pm
    Paddleboarding: build strength, coordination and endurance whilst balancing on a stand-up paddleboard in the main pool.
