Will Thrower [Duty Manager]

Will ThrowerI have been working at Bridport Leisure Centre since October 2008 as a Duty Manager.  Prior to this I was working at Budmouth Sports Centre in Weymouth.

Within my role as Duty Manager I am responsible for the day to day running of the Centre, ensuring we deliver the best service we possibly can.  In addition, I have specific responsibility for the Centre's activities programme including holiday actviities, and the Cycle Safety outreach projects.

I have been working in the leisure industry for the past 5 years working my way up from part time Duty Manager to my current position.

I have a degree in Sport Development & Coaching Science and during my time at Bridport Leisure Centre, I have gained a number of sport and leisure related qualifications including Pool Plant Operators Certificate, National Pool Lifeguard Qualification and Cycle Safety.

In my spare time I enjoy playing football and socialising with friends.
