Kate Evans [HR & Payroll Administrator]

I have worked at Bridport Leisure Centre since 2003 and my role over the years has not so much changed but certainly increased!

My job encompasses HR, payroll, bookings and invoicing and being so diverse, the role can be quite challenging juggling all the 'hats' at once!  That said, it is very interesting dealing with different aspects of the Centre and I like the fact that no two days are the same.

I completed a CIPD Certificate in Personnel Practice at Yeovil College in 2008 and it has helped me tremendously when dealing with the Human Resource aspects of the Centre.

As well as providing HR support, my most important task is to process payroll and ensure everyone is paid correctly and on time.

My role at Bridport Leisure Centre also involves dealing with bookings and invoicing.  I enjoy dealing with all the clubs, schools and individuals wishing to book the facilities the Centre has to offer and I particularly enjoy being involved in special events and coordinating activity days for schools and other large groups.
