For me it’s important to build a firm foundation of strength and co-ordination to get the most out of any training session. For that reason you’ll find I focus a lot on weights and other forms of strength-building exercises. Many women are afraid of lifting weights because they don’t want to get big and bulky. Trust me, neither do I! My approach will ensure you gain strength while also building a long, lean shape. When we need a cardio blast, we’ll use kettlebells, circuits, skipping, bodyweight exercises and plyometrics (jumping) to get our heart rates up and burning fat.

My decision to have a personal trainer was not an easy decision. I had been struggling with both physical and mental health issues and was not feeling at all confident about my body. Nicole has helped to change my perception of my body’s capabilities and I have developed a love of being fit and physically strong again. Being physically strong enables me to face the world again. Nicole’s quiet and persistent understanding of both my physical and psychological well-being has encouraged me to try out new activities, some of which I would never have thought would be possible! We laugh a lot in our sessions and I have always felt very comfortable and not at all intimidated in Nicole’s company which I feel is so important.

I have no reservation in recommending Nicole to anyone looking for a personal trainer. She demonstrates the right mix of challenge and support and I have made excellent progress since I started working with her. I have worked with a number of personal trainers over the last decade and Nicole is definitely one of, if not, the very best.

I would 100% recommend personal training sessions at Bridport Leisure Centre. Nicole is a fantastic trainer, encouraging and supportive whilst achieving great results. When I started seeing Nicole as a personal trainer I was desperate to get fitter but intimidated and scared by the gym. Nicole made me feel relaxed and although I was working hard I found my sessions flew by. Nicole also keeps the classes interesting by changing what I did each week, so I never got bored doing the same things. Over time my confidence grew alongside my fitness and I now attend gym classes regularly. I genuinely can’t recommend Nicole as a personal trainer enough.
