Bridport Leisure Centre Trampoline Competition 2010
Bridport Leisure Centre’s 10th In-house Trampoline Competition was held on Sunday 23rd May 2010. Entrants ranged from 5yrs to adult with all trampolinists performing their routines successfully.
Each competitor had to complete a compulsory and then an individual routine under the watchful eyes of the judges, other competitors and spectators.
All the competitors worked very hard, during their classes and in the practice sessions, to get their routines right and this showed in the professional way they all performed in what can be a stressful situation. There were some very accomplished individual routines as well as a very enjoyable synchronised section of the competition. Paul Kingston, the main judge, said that he felt this that year’s competitors had performed very well which was indicated by the close margin between some of the medal placings.
The enthusiastic support and applause of the spectators helped to make this years competition a great success and the attitude of the competitors was exceptional leading to some outstanding performances. Well done to all who took part, and thank you to everyone who helped on the day.
