Yoga Workshops

Our short yoga workshops offer a range of styles and disciplines to suit all abilities. Each six-week workshop comprises six, hour-long classes, taking place in our dedicated yoga studio. All workshops are limited to 10 places, giving plenty of one-to-one access to your instructor and ensuring great results. Workshops start the week commencing Monday 16th January 2017, Monday 27th February and Monday 10th April.


Mondays

Yogalates fusion with Debbie

A mix of traditional yoga postures blended with techniques that focus on the deeper core muscles, with the benefits of improved posture, spinal awareness, strength, stability, stamina and flexibility. Achieve a sense of wellbeing and find your inner calm.

Tuesdays

Yoga with Sam

A steady-paced introduction to the benefits of yoga. Learn fundamental postures (asanas) to develop flexibility, strength and steadiness, as well as breathing, meditation and mindfulness for positive living.  Ability level: beginners/some yoga experience.

Tuesdays

Vinyasa Yoga with Esther

This energetic, flowing practice synchronises posture with breath and creates heat for a great workout. A combination of sun salutations, inversions and balances improve body alignment, breath and body awareness. Choose from three vinyasa courses:

Vinyasa Yoga | Bro Yoga
This men-only class is designed to increase flexibility and body alignment, helping to prevent injury and improve overall strength.

Wednesdays

Yoga Nidra and Mudra Meditation with Nadiya

A gentle class incorporating postures (asanas) and breathing, followed by a series of mudras (positions of the hands) that have an energetic effect on the breath, mind and body. Classes finish with Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation).

Yin Yoga with Esther

Yin yoga consists of long-held, passive floor poses that work deep into the connective tissues, joints and bones. Benefits include increased circulation, improved flexibility, greater joint mobility, and calming mind/body equilibrium.

Fridays

Thai yoga with Sam

Thai Yoga is a slower paced practice, consisting of a floor based and flowing sequence set to music. The postures are linked in with the breath and are deep, meditative and relaxing.  Benefits include greater mobility, body and breath awareness. Thai Yoga is excellent for reducing stress and calming the mind.

Fridays

Iyengar Yoga for beginners with Alex

This popular and challenging yoga practice places emphasis on precision and correct alignment of the body. To achieve the poses, props can be used according to the individual needs of each student. Therefore anyone regardless of age or fitness can join the class and benefit from the therapeutic value of this method.
